For a label with an international fanbase of over 500,000, we are a relatively small team of thirteen passionate and fabulous individuals.
One of the stars of our relaunch campaign shoot is an icon of our Oxford Street store, Nebbi.
Whether you’re looking to expand your underwear collection towards finding a g-string or jockstrap, looking for the perfect partywear piece like a crop top - or sportswear pieces that can take you from the cafe to gym, like our joggers or bootylicious gym shorts, Nebbi loves encouraging customers to step out of their comfort zone - but do so in a way that feels authentic to them. ‘Just do you!’
DailyJocks: How long have you been working with DailyJocks and how have you changed within that time?
Nebbi: I've been working at DailyJocks for just over a year now. It has been a space that has only celebrated my strange, fun and sexy outfits that I wear as my li’l daily celebrations of queerdom. I think working here has given me a lot more confidence in myself because of all the juicy love from the team!
DailyJocks: What would you say is your superpower?
Nebbi: My superpower would definitely be helping people open up and speak their truth.
DailyJocks: How do you think DailyJocks helps people to speak their truth?
Nebbi: One of my favourite things about DailyJocks is that we cater for everyone in the community - there’s something for everyone. It’s inclusive and it’s body positive. We support the customer and what they want to express.
DailyJocks: What do you think makes the in-store experience so special at DailyJocks?
Nebbi: Definitely the team! Come in, let's have a party!
One of the things I love most about working here is getting to know so many new gorgeous people! Its been an amazing gateway into the gay/queer community in Sydney!
DailyJocks: What is a key DailyJocks piece that everyone needs in their wardrobe?
Nebbi: Biiiitch! Get yourself a wrestling leotard immediately? That shit's sexy as fuuuck!
DailyJocks: What do you recommend for someone looking to step out of their comfort zone when it comes to underwear?
Nebbi: Don't be afraid to try everything on in the shop! Check yourself out in the mirrors! Get that positive self-talk going and know that you're a sexy bitch! When you feel it you feel it. Just do you!
